Con la participaci\u00f3n de 122 ciclistas, quienes compitieron en las categor\u00edas varonil y femenil, esta ma\u00f1ana se realiz\u00f3 la carrera Los Reyes de la Selva, de 36 kil\u00f3metros, evento que confirma a Puerto Morelos como sede de eventos deportivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La competencia a campo traviesa, de acuerdo con el director municipal del Deporte, Ren\u00e1n Cruz Ram\u00edrez, se realiz\u00f3 en un circuito de 18 km. Los competidores proven\u00edan de Playa del Carmen, Canc\u00fan, Chetumal, Felipe Carrillo Puerto y Puerto Morelos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El funcionario coment\u00f3 que en la organizaci\u00f3n de la carrera colaboraron Puerto Morelos Ciclyng Team y la Direcci\u00f3n del Deporte, que proporcion\u00f3 servicios m\u00e9dicos, asistencia de la Coordinaci\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y ambulancias para atender emergencias. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 el apoyo de The local State, patrocinador que tambi\u00e9n contribuy\u00f3 en esa tarea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBrindamos apoyo y estuvimos muy pendientes de la carrera porque la instrucci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz es dar todo el apoyo institucional al deporte para estimular a ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes a practicar alguna disciplina que contribuya a su formaci\u00f3n integral\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El banderazo de salida se dio a las 7:10 de la ma\u00f1ana. Las y los ciclistas recorrieron un camino de terracer\u00eda que parte de los l\u00edmites con Playa del Carmen hasta llegar a la estaci\u00f3n del Tren Maya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruz Ram\u00edrez coment\u00f3 que en ambas ramas solo se cont\u00f3 con la categor\u00eda libre. Al final, las ganadoras de los cinco primeros lugares fueron Valentina Naal, Liliana P\u00e9rez, Mar C\u00e1ceres, Mildred Ramos y Betty Campos; por los varones, Gabriel Rueda, Dennys Sosa, Jos\u00e9 Luis Dom\u00ednguez, Aldo Montero y Fernando Dzib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
